Dear
Digital North Customer,
As you may already know, some exciting things have been happening at Digital
North. As a valued customer, we wanted to let you know more about these events
and how they may impact you.
Today,
December 7th, 2005, Digital North acquired VISI.com, a well-known local
Internet Service Provider (ISP). VISI.com was previously owned by DSL.net, Inc.
(AMEX: BIZ), a New Haven, Conn.-based broadband communications services
provider. The transaction brings ownership back in local hands, including
management team members of both VISI.com and Digital North. Our newly formed
entity will operate under the name VISI, a strong and trusted brand in Internet
solutions.
Why the purchase?
We've
been working with VISI.com for four years and it's been a great, productive
relationship. We've been a contract supplier of Web hosting services for them
and they've provided many of our customers with Internet connectivity. Their
Internet solutions fully complement our Web hosting capabilities. Quite
frankly, we’ve always been impressed with the company.
What does this mean to you?
In
short, this acquisition only means improvements for you. VISI.com’s service is
well-known throughout the Twin Cities and we intend to leverage that expertise
to better serve you.
However,
in the meantime, you won’t notice more than the introduction of the new VISI
logo on your statements. You can still call us at our Digital North numbers,
still work with the same experts you know and appreciate, and still find us on
the Web at www.digitalnorth.net. Over a period of time, we’ll transition out
the Digital North name and go by VISI only. We’ll keep you up-to-date every
step of the way. In the meantime, you can learn more at both www.digitalnorth.net
and www.visi.com.
We
remain committed to professional, responsive and unparalleled service. We
appreciate your business and look forward to serving you even better with the
newly combined recourses of VISI.com and Digital North. As we transition,
please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
Michael
Sowada, CEO
VISI
/ Digital North
