Hosting Datacenters

Digital North partners with the best Internet Providers in the Twin Cities to deliver business-class managed hosting services. We focus on your services while our partners provide physical security, power, and climate control. Our infrastructure partners are well known for their engineering expertise, security, and reliability. Digital North is the only company in the region that is able to offer managed hosting services from three different locations.

We listen to our customers' needs and select the datacenter that provides the best solution. Every Digital North Infrastructure Partner must meet a number of important criteria:

  • High-speed connectivity to at least two major national data carriers
  • 24/7 operations and off-duty availability of engineering staff
  • State-of-the-art security, fire control, and climate control systems
  • Battery power backup and generator power backup systems
  • Recognized and award-winning customer service

Digital North's managed hosting services were first offered at SunGard (formerly Inflow) in downtown Minneapolis, a major inter-exchange point for national data carriers. The facility is connected to multiple national Internet providers and redundant power grids. The facility security is maintained by full time technical staff, security cards, and security cameras. The facility is SAS 70 Type II Compliant.

Digital North maintains managed hosting services at Vericenter, a leading national infrastructure provider. Vericenter manages a business-class datacenter located in St. Paul, MN. The facility is SAS 70 Type I Compliant.

Digital North provides hosting services to customers across the Midwest from the Visi.com datacenter in St. Paul. Visi.com, one of the largest suppliers of Internet services in the region, maintains redundant OC12 backbone connections to multiple carriers.
